Our mission is to bring the young Bosnian community closer, by hosting a range of activities.
Mission Statement - Our Purpose
The purpose of this group is to reach out to British Bosnians with ties to Bosnia & Herzegovina (BiH) to stay connected.
This will be achieved by arranging appealing activities. It is aimed at particularly the first generation diaspora and caters to different personality types, whether shy or outgoing.
Anybody who is interested in the BiH community/culture can participate - you don’t have to have paternal ties to BiH.
The UK is big and the diaspora are in many locations. This is why we emphasise and focus on online activites and social media networking. We want to particularly attract people who aren’t really engaged with the community.
Vision Statement - what we want to become
This is a voluntary group. It is not funded or registered as a charity. If there is potential to work and grow with other organisations, then registering as a charity looks attractve.
We are currently following the guidance set out by GOV.UK on “Organising a voluntary event: a ‘can do’ guide” (PDF link).
